The Brownie

Ingredients:
- 1 Ghirardelli Brownie Mix
- Butter to replace the Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup Espresso to replace the Water (Optional)
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 a Tony's Chocolonely bar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Vanilla Extract
This recipe is mostly just the back of the box, but we made some adjustments to the ingredients to change the texture and flavor of the brownie, so it should be very simple to follow, but also very worth adjusting.
Start with pouring in the mix into a bowl straight from the box. Then, add the water or espresso (depending on which you choose to use). Next, add the oil or replace with melted butter (same amount for either). Then, add the egg the vanilla extract and salt. Finally, add in the extra chocolate as chopped pieces, and mix together well.
Bake according to the box, and when finished in the oven, bring the brownie to room temparture, or slightly above, and place into the fridge or freezer for about 20 minutes. Doing this with make the brownie have a much more fudge-like texture, and will keep a better shape later. All that's left is to cut up and enjoy!
